docks and new shoes
Friday was the first day off from work in a while. It felt good to just be able to kick back and relax with no worries. Due to my busy schedule during the week I haven't had the time to do laundry so it was the perfect day to get to it. As soon as that was all over I headed to have lunch at Trident on Newbury street one of my favorite restaurants. They have the best tuna melts that I have ever tasted! After having lunch I made it a priority to go into LF and purchase a pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes I seen earlier in the week. It was like love at first sight and as soon as I tried them on it was like a match made in heaven. I spent over $200.00 in about 20 minutes but that's bound to happen every time I step foot in that store. I am in love with my new Jeffrey Campbell shoes and I can't wait to wear them! By then I was all spent out and enjoyed the rest of the evening by the docks collecting my thoughts alongside Olivia and friends.

Diary of an intern: Week 3
Last week consisted of a lot of running around from fabric store to fabric store. It was quit the busy week in Manhattan. With the "Resort 2011" Collection being shown and fall 2010 just around the corner, their has been a lot of work to be done. On Tuesday I walked all over Manhattan trying to find a specific type of fabric needed to complete a sample for the fall collection. In the process while at "Mood" in the Garment District of Manhattan I stumbled onto the set/filming of the new "Project Runway" fall 2010 season, set to air in December. It was pretty cool and unexpected but only in New York will you come across things like this just happening. On Thursday it was a very relaxed day. As soon as I arrived I had specific tasks to attend to and needed to get done in a timely manner in the city. Back inside of the showroom was far more hectic due to the fact of "Resort 2011" being shown. Their were many appointments with clients such as Gilt Group and a few others.
