Photo: Friday

I was born into a broke generation. I look around and I see people who have borrowed more than they can ever repay, who can't find a good job, can't save, can't afford basic necessities like health insurance, can't make solid plans. Their credit card bills mount every month, while their lives stall out on the first uphill slope. Born into a century of unimaginable prosperity, in the richest country in the world, those of us between the ages of eighteen and thirty-five have somehow been cheated out of our inheritance.

Turban Talk

Before this season turbans were thought to be more cultural than used as an added accessory when one is getting dressed. Long before turbans were thought to become popular. Blogger & Make-Up artist Sierra Luella has created a buzz for herself being known for wearing turbans in various ways, colors, patterns and textures. I stumbled upon her blog a while ago on one of my daily reads and immediately loved her bold fashion sense but most importantly her creative and carefree outlook on life. Just out of curiosity I've always wanted to know how Sierra tied her turbans and why they were such an important aspect to her daily wardrobe. Below is a video she recored to show everyone how she ties her turbans and the cultural reasoning behind wearing them.
