back in the day when I was young I'm not a kid anymore

The other day I just so happened to stumble across a whole bunch of pictures of me when I was younger and everyone else in my family. I love moments like this when you can sit down and take a glimpse at all the memories captured. Their were too many pictures to go through. If I could I would post all of them but the one's below were some of my favorites.

Back Bay Station catching the Amtrak to Atlanta, GA.
This is one of my favorite school pictures I have ever taken. Wasn't I the cutest thing ever!
I guess I was wearing over sized button downs, big gold hoop earrings, and
combat boots way back when. Thanks mom!
My mother when she modeled. This is where all my aspirations in the
Fashion Industry came from.
My mother was always dressed to impress. I took after her.
My Grandmother at Castle Island Beach in South Boston.

Diary of an intern: Week 1

Last Tuesday was my first official day as Public-Relations/Sales Intern for designer Jeffrey Monteiro in New York City. Every Monday and Wednesday night I take a 2:15 a.m. bus leaving South Station to New York so I can be in the city every Tuesday and Thursday morning to arrive at my internship by 10 a.m. The commute can be a bit much at times but I keep in mind that it will all be worth it in the long run. The connections and relationships I will establish along with the learning experience keeps me focused. So far I am in love with this amazing opportunity I have been blessed with. The showroom is adorable and the people who I work with are kind hearted and have so much knowledge to offer. I am excited about the things I will be doing over the course of the summer and into the fall as an intern. There are so many great things lined up and I can't wait to share them with you all. Through my weekly "Diary of an intern" posts.
