Diary of an intern: Week 7
Last week was a well relaxed one in the showroom of Jeffrey Monteiro. I finally got a break from having to do the typical intern duties such as running around Manhattan in the "Garment District" going back and forth from uptown to downtown. So it felt great to just relax and focus on tasks sitting in front of a desk. Tuesday was an interesting day, I got trapped in the rain for about 2 hours due to not having an umbrella. That pretty much ruined the rest of the day. On Thursday I spent the entire day in the showroom organizing more and more inspiration books and steaming the fall collection. Jeffrey had a film crew from Krupp come into the showroom to shoot a mini documentary for Fashionista.com focusing on his work under Bill Blass while maintaining his own private label all at once.

Friday
Every weekend Olivia and I go to this bar called "Church" mainly due the fact we are obsessed with the bartender. We started off the evening at her place drinking really cheap wine and playing around on photobooth and just catching up on life.
